gusbirding: Gustavo Bautista nació en Lima, Perú en 1986. A la edad de 13 años se adentró al mundo de las aves, gracias a su hermana que trabajó como guía para Rainforest Expeditions y quién fue siempre una fuente de inspiración. Gustavo empezó observando aves urbanas en Lima ciudad y luego en el Refugio de Vida Silvestre Los Pantanos de Villa, la observación de aves se convirtió en su pasión cuando viajó por primera vez a la Amazonía en Tambopata, Madre de Dios, donde vivió la más inolvidable experiencia de su vida y así fue que decidió formarse en la carrera de Turismo y especializarse en la Observación de Aves. Gustavo es Licenciado de la carrera de Guías Oficiales de Turismo en CENFOTUR, ha vivido cerca de 10 años entre Cusco y Madre Dios y ha trabajado no solamente como Guía y Tour leader sino también como capacitador de otros guías en desarrollo, compartiendo su amplio conocimiento y su pasión por las aves. Hasta el momento ha registrado más de 1900 especies de aves.
